VOICE

The main instrument of human interconnection. It describes those who make use of it, tell stories (storytellers); its tone, its colour, its accent, its rhythm, its cadence, its depth, its extension make it unique and recognizable and reveal the cultural context in which they belong to. It can therefore be said that the voice represents a fundamental aspect of each person’s personal identity. In singing, the voice-identity relates to other voice-identities in harmony. In a choir the voiceidentities merge, lean on, speak and understand each other and contribute to building a new group identity; the final result of the song is a spontaneous form of miscegenation.
