For us, culture plays an active role in the processes of social change. With this purpose: we study and plan community experiences to generate social and cultural innovation, we promote inclusion and collective growth, and we enhance cultural heritage as an opportunity for knowledge and personal enrichment. For ECCOM, culture has an active role in processes of social change and sustainability. Through its work, ECCOM studies and designs community experiences to generate innovation and cultural dialogue, promote participation in public life and promote cultural heritage as opportunities for personal and collective training and enrichment.

Since 1995, ECCOM has been promoting processes of social innovation and supporting a plural narration of cultural heritage through projects, initiatives and experiences. 2003, the year of the first European project, marks the beginning of an international path to explore and experiment with relationships between heritage and citizenship.

ECCOM promotes dialogue with cultural institutions and public and private entities operating in the cultural and social sector at a national and international level; supports them in projects that foster new relationships between heritage, communities and territories.
