For ECCOM, culture has an active role in processes of social change and sustainability. Through its work, ECCOM studies and designs community experiences to generate innovation and cultural dialogue, promote participation in public life and promote cultural heritage as opportunities for personal and collective training and enrichment.
Since 1995, ECCOM has been promoting processes of social innovation and supporting a plural narration of cultural heritage through projects, initiatives and experiences. 2003, the year of the first European project, marks the beginning of an international path to explore and experiment with relationships between heritage and citizenship.
