Information on the protection of personal data pursuant to art. 13 of Legislative Decree. n. 196/03 – Code on the protection of personal data – and articles 12, 13, 14 of the European Regulation n. 679/2016.

Access to the website www.eccom.it and / or any requests for information or services to ECCOM Progetti s.r.l. involve the provision of personal data that will be processed with methods and purposes in full compliance with European Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

This policy is provided pursuant to art. 13 of Legislative Decree. n. 196/03 – Code on the protection of personal data – and articles 12, 13, 14 of the European Regulation n. 679/2016, to those who interact with the web services directly provided by ECCOM Progetti s.r.l. (from now on ECCOM), accessible through the website www.eccom.it.

The policy is provided exclusively for the site managed by ECCOM as Data Controller and not for other websites that may be consulted by the user via links.

The person responsible for data processing is the physical or legal person, the public authority, the service or other body that deals with the personal data on behalf of the holder of the treatment. Purduant to art. 28 of regulation (EU) n. 2016/679, upon the appointment of the Data Controller, the data processing manager of the ECCOM site is Cristina Da Milano.

CATEGORIES OF DATA PROCESSED, PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING AND LEGAL BASIS

Through the website www.eccom.it different categories of personal data are collected and processed, for different purposes and with different methods. Personal data is information about a defined or definable natural person.

The purposes of the processing of personal data are made known to the interested parties at the time of collection.

1. Newsletter

Through the website, it is possible to subscribe to the newsletter to receive information and communications related to activities, projects and events promoted by ECCOM on a regular basis.

Sending the newsletter is based on an explicit consent pursuant to art. 6, paragraph 1, lett. a) in conjunction with art. 7 of the GDPR.

2. Navigation data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This is information is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but which by their very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.

This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) ​​addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user’s computer environment.

This data is used only to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning and is deleted immediately after processing. The data could also be used to recognize system errors and cyber attacks and to be able to implement protective measures to prevent abuse. Conservation takes place on the basis of necessity.

The legal basis of the processing is art. 6, paragraph 1, lett. f) of the GDPR (the processing is necessary for the pursuit of the legitimate interest of the data controller).

3. Audiovisual material

On the occasion of events, audiovisual material may be produced to document the activities carried out, which can be disseminated through the website, social media and newsletter. The processing of personal data for this purpose finds its legal basis in Article 6, paragraph 1, lett. f) of the GDPR and does not require consent.

It is understood that, once published, the images may be saved and processed by third parties in a completely autonomous and independent manner, without any consequent responsibility of ECCOM.

NATURE OF THE PROVISION OF DATA

With the exception of navigation data, the communication of data is free and optional; however, failure to provide such data may entail the impossibility to provide and answer to what has been requested.

DATA PROCESSING METHODS

The data processing is performed through paper and computer media.

The data is stored in electronic archives and, on a residual basis, on paper with full assurance of the minimum security measures provided by the legislator, in order to minimize the risk of destruction or loss, even accidental, of the data itself, of non- authorized access or of processing that is not allowed or does not comply with the collection purposes indicated in this Privacy Policy.

No automated process is carried out through the website.

The Data Controller may transfer personal data to third countries or to international organizations. In this case, in accordance with the legal requirements, personal data is transferred only if the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision towards the third country or if adequate guarantees have been agreed. ECCOM also reserves the right to use cloud services; in which case, the service providers will be selected from those who provide adequate guarantees, as required by art. 46 GDPR 679/16.

CATEGORIES OF RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal data may be processed by:

– employees and collaborators of the Data Controller, in their capacity of authorized for the processing;

– external subjects, such as suppliers of third party technical services (developers, external consultants, IT technicians) in their capacity as Data Processing responsible, subject to a letter of appointment from ECCOM, which imposes the duty of confidentiality and security;

– the data may be communicated, as far as their respective and specific competence is concerned, to Entities and in general to any public or private subject with respect to which there is an obligation (or faculty recognized by law) or need for communication.

RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTIES

Pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679, the interested party enjoys the rights referred to in sections 2, 3 and 4 of Chapter III of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

In particular, you have the right to ask the data controller: access to personal data and rectification, deletion of the same, limitation of the processing that concerns them, opposition to their processing and data portability. In addition, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you consider that the data processing violates EU Regulation 2016/679.
