|2003-2005| New learning opportunities for adult museum audiences, with particular attention to disadvantaged people.

The Collect & Share project, which ECCOM develops as an associated partner between 2003-2005, is part of the action of Grundtvig 4 on lifelong learning. The main aim is to identify and promote new learning opportunities for adult museum audiences, with particular attention to disadvantaged people.
The project was born on the initiative of a European network of institutes that brings together museums, galleries, adult education institutions, agencies and other institutions, to promote and disseminate good practices in the field of adult education (16 years and older) in museums and galleries, or in collaboration with these.
Collect & Share aims to collect projects and good practices regarding education and lifelong learning, and then share this information and knowledge through a website.
The guidelines emerging from the cases and good practices are also disseminated through training opportunities, reports and conferences aimed at professionals working in the field of museums, galleries and adult education.
The partner institutions of Collect & Share are Engage – Organization for the promotion of education in galleries (United Kingdom) as project leader, Louisiana – Museum of Modern Art (Denmark), Louvre (France), Museum of Modern Art ( Slovenia), Kiasma – Museum of Contemporary Art (Finland), Kulturråd / National Council for Culture (Sweden), European Museum Forum, Institute for Artistic, Cultural and Natural Heritage of the Emilia Romagna Region (Italy), Association of Saarland Museums (Germany), Association of Business Museums (Portugal), Niace / National Institute for Continuing Education (UK). ECCOM is an Associate Partner.
