|2019| A path for young people in a situation of economic and social marginalization who, through training courses in the fields of photography, new media and digital communication, develop skills and abilities that can be used in the expressive and working fields.

The Caleidoscopio. Sguardi Cangianti project is the winner of the “Prendi Parte! Agire e pensare creativo” call by the Direzione Generale Arte e Architettura Contemporanee e Periferie Urbane (DGAAP) of the MiBACT. It involves young people between 18 and 29 years old in situations of economic and social marginalization and offers them a training path for the acquisition of skills in the field of communication and new media, useful for self-expression and to access the world of work.
The activities range from explorations of the territory through contemporary languages to in-depth workshops held by the greatest Italian photographers sensitive to the themes of migration and memory; from workshops on digital and analog photography techniques (use of tools, construction of a photographic story, social photography, street photography) and image post-production (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom) to communication and promotion of events in preparation of the final event.
Participants are supported by an artist-tutor: the photographer Mohamed Keita, as well as young educators from the Pecci Center and Il Cenacolo and Pane & Rose cooperatives.
ECCOM deals with the impact assessment of the project and analyses the level of involvement of the participants, the community engagement, the collaborations initiated and the expansion of the network; investigates the psycho-behavioural impact of the project and the level of subjective and social well-being that derives from participation in activities.
