Open all areas

A project for sharing best practices to involve socially and economically marginalized groups in informal learning programs through culture and creativity.

2012-2014

Open All Areas supports cultural institutions in their audience engagement activities aimed at socially and economically marginalized audiences. Specifically, it promotes the exchange of strategies to overcome cultural exclusion between the seven European organizations linked to the project: Audiences Europe Network (United Kingdom), Rotterdam Festivals (Netherlands), ECCOM (Italy), Danish Center for Arts & Interculture (Denmark), Demos (Belgium), Audiences Norway (Norway), Audiences Northern Ireland (United Kingdom) and CCCB-articketBCN (Spain).
The training responds to the professional needs of cultural managers committed to designing and implementing programs aimed at non-traditional audiences, who recognize the fundamental role of art and culture in lifelong learning processes.
