Claudia De Simone
Graduated in Archival and Library Sciences. After her studies, Claudia developed her passion for books by managing the fund of the Episcopal Library of Como, later becoming curator of the Silk Museum in the same city, where she dealt with the digitization of ancient material and the preparation of the Center of Textile Documentation. In Rome, she graduated from the Library Science School of the Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana, subsequently participating in the drafting of the manual “For a history of libraries from antiquity to the early Renaissance” (Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana, 2019) and managing, in parallel, private book collections. Claudia has always been dedicated to tidying up and keeping in touch with books, photographs and documents, transferring her experiences to ECCOM while taking care of the administrative management of the secretariat.
