On November 4 at the Emeroteca dell\u2019Arte in Mestre, Elena Bellantoni, Carola Cappellari, Cesare Pietroiusti<\/strong>, and the Zeroscena<\/strong> collective will present the results of the artistic projects developed as part of the CAF<\/em><\/strong>\u00c9 \u2013 Redefining Caf\u00e9 Houses as Unique European Cultural Heritage<\/em><\/strong>, co-funded by the Creative Europe program and in which ECCOM is a partner, which explores caf\u00e9s as spaces for cultural production, social interaction, and community life.<\/p>\n Through different languages and approaches, the works of Elena Bellantoni, Carola Cappellari, Cesare Pietroiusti, and Zeroscena offer new perspectives on caf\u00e9s as spaces where memory and the present, the individual and public life, daily habits and shared imaginaries intertwine.<\/p>\n Carola Cappellari, <\/strong>Il dodicesimo pannello<\/em><\/strong> Cesare Pietroiusti, <\/strong>Terzo luogo<\/em><\/strong> Elena Bellantoni, <\/strong>Rimediario, Azione per un caff\u00e8 de-coloniale<\/em><\/strong> Zeroscena, <\/strong>Caf\u00e9 Volant<\/em><\/strong> <\/p>\n The event, organized in collaboration with the Emeroteca dell\u2019Arte and the Fondazione Musei Civici Venezia<\/strong>, will provide an opportunity to share the project\u2019s findings and explore the contribution of contemporary art to a new interpretation of a European heritage that continues to evolve alongside society.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
\nA photographic project inspired by Giacomo Casa\u2019s eleven allegorical panels in the Senate Hall of Caff\u00e8 Florian. Through diptychs that juxtapose historical details and contemporary images, the project creates new visual and narrative associations, imagining a symbolic twelfth panel in which memory and the present engage in dialogue. <\/p>\n
\nA sound journey divided into three installations, featuring vintage radios, audio cassettes, and documentary materials. The episodes trace the history of caf\u00e9s as places of gathering, debate, and artistic experimentation, from the historical avant-garde movements to contemporary experiences. <\/p>\n
\nA participatory project that, through coffee cups inspired by the tradition of Venetian porcelain, explores coffee as a space for connection, listening, and care. An initiative that invites reflection on the colonial legacies tied to coffee culture and encourages the imagination of new forms of encounter, reciprocity, and sharing. <\/p>\n
\nA performance piece that accompanies the act of offering a cup of coffee with small sugar sculptures shaped like paper airplanes, each containing a brief message. A convivial experience that evokes the history of caf\u00e9s as places where ideas circulate, and where people meet and engage in cultural exchange. <\/p>\n
