|2018–2020| ECCOM supports RIJEKA for the promotion of its role as Capital of Culture 2020.

In the year in which Croatia takes over the rotating Presidency of the Council of the European Union, its largest port, Rijeka, becomes the European Capital of Culture and presents an important artistic-cultural and city regeneration program.
ECCOM participates in the development of an audience development strategy aimed at promoting the role of the city as the European Capital of Culture 2020.
The path consists of a series of workshops dedicated to the cultural partners and stakeholders of Rijeka2020 and a capacity building process for a selected group of cultural operators who, during 18 months, work on the elaboration of strategic audience development plans for their organizations, to implement practices aimed at favouring not only access but also active participation in culture of the citizens of Rijeka.
