|2009| A plan for the promotion of the cultural heritage of the archaeological area of Hampi.

ECCOM draws up a strategic plan for the promotion of the cultural heritage of the archaeological area of Hampi. Strict attention is paid to sustainability criteria, especially in light of the delicate balance between economic development needs and social and religious traditions that characterizes the area. For this project, ECCOM works in association with Hydea and Target-Euro.
The socio-economic complexity of the area and its extension (about 25 km2) require the development of a detailed plan of actions, interventions and projects for the conservation and promotion of the site’s cultural heritage.
The design of the itineraries involves the development of multimedia supports, the adoption of augmented reality tools and the preparation of virtual itineraries and interactive tours. The university and local institutions are involved in the development of the project, allowing the highest degree of sharing.
The general coordination of the project is entrusted to Vincenzo Zappino (Target-Euro).
