ECCOM takes care of the development of a new mobile app for the Archaeological Park of Paestum. Personalized itineraries according to themes, duration and interests aim to improve accessibility and use of the archaeological site. The app is available in 6 languages and in LIS language, and can be downloaded from the Apple and Google Play stores.
The Archaeological Park of Paestum offers its visitors a new way to learn about the history and heritage of the place, of personalizing the path and experiencing a unique and personal journey into a past that is far in time, but which is alive and close to our present.
With the app you can choose the duration of the visit, with two options of 60 and 90 minutes, and select the topics of interest: myths and rituals, daily life, Greek and Lucanian Paestum, Roman Paestum. The result is a geo-localized map on which the user can view the points of interest, each accompanied by a dedicated card and images.
The app, created by ECCOM in collaboration with VISIVALAB and the State Institute for the deaf, can be downloaded for free on Apple store and Google Play and is available in 6 languages (Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Russian and Chinese) and in LIS language.
